MADISON EAST ALUMNI

DONALD HAYES- 1st Team All State Honors, Player of the Year (Area), UW Madison Alumni (Football), Drafted in the 5th round of the NFL Draft by the New England Patriots.  Played 8 NFL years with the Patriots, Panthers, and Jaguars.

ROY BOONE- Roy Boone was truly one of the best stories in Big 8 Basketball history!  He came from nothing in Detroit, and turned his life around when he was a sophomore as he came to East.  Roy got a full ride scholorship to play for Dick Bennett and the Wisconsin Badgers.  He played there after he went to Coffeyville Kansas Community College, and then his 2000 Badger team, which he started on, went to the Final Four and lost to Michigan State.  Roy Played for the Rockford Lightning (CBA) for a couple years.

AARON MACK- Aaron Mack was a born leader on the floor.  He was on the team with Roy Boone, so the scoring wasnt all there, but he is up on the list of all time assist leaders.  He currently is coaching the Varsity Football Team at Iowa Grant high school in Wisconsin.
